Electronic Office, Western North Carolina’s longest-standing IT Managed Service Provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carla Pruitt as Director of Business Development.

Pruitt will lead client growth and partnership development as the company expands its managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud services across the Southeast.

Founded in 1981, Electronic Office has built its reputation as a Trusted Technology Advisor to organizations throughout the western North Carolina region, as well as across the United States and internationally. Pruitt’s appointment reflects the company’s continued investment in the relationships that have defined its culture for more than four decades.

“Electronic Office has a reputation I’ve admired for years—a team that genuinely puts clients first and backs it up with the technical depth to deliver,” said Pruitt. “I’m excited to help more organizations across the Southeast discover what a true technology partnership looks like.”

A Career Built on Enterprise Relationships

Pruitt brings more than two decades of experience in IT consulting, sales, and cybersecurity to her new role. She began her career at MDI, an IT consulting firm, where she worked directly with C-level executives and PMO teams at enterprise organizations to scope contract IT resource needs and recruit specialized talent to fill them. That early grounding in executive-level consultative work shaped the approach she has carried throughout her career: start with the business problem, then build the right solution around it.

She went on to hold account executive roles at Net3 Technology and eGroup before joining Sharp Business Systems, where she spent more than eleven years in IT and cybersecurity sales management. Across those engagements, she built long-standing client relationships and guided organizations through the increasingly complex landscape of managed services, network infrastructure, and security. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Lander University.

Investing in Client Partnerships

Pruitt’s appointment comes as Electronic Office continues to expand its service footprint and deepen its engagement with clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Her focus will include:

  • Executive-Level Partnerships: Engaging directly with business leaders to align technology strategy with measurable outcomes — not just selling services, but helping clients clarify what they actually need.
  • Expanding the Southeast Footprint: Introducing Electronic Office’s managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud services to organizations that need a reliable, security-first partner.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Collaborating with Electronic Office’s technical teams to ensure every client engagement begins with clarity, transparency, and a clear path to results.

“Carla brings exactly the kind of experience and approach that fits who we are,” said Kemper Brown Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Electronic Office. “She’s spent her entire career helping clients solve real problems at the executive level. That’s the foundation of every relationship we want to build.”
